Get Moving for Healthy Kids Annual 5K and Youth Track & Field Events
Join race ambassador Tim Dwight and Herky for this year's Get Moving for Healthy Kids walk/run on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at City High School. Get Moving for Healthy Kids is the annual walk/run event with a dual purpose — as its name implies. The event promotes and supports Healthy Kids Community Care, our area school-based health clinics. These clinics provide basic health care for children without adequate access to the health care most of us take for granted. The second purpose is to promote activity and exercise for our children (and adults too!).

2017-18 District Calendar Update
As a reminder, this year there were hours built into the District calendar to accommodate potential inclement weather. Due to this, there will not be a need to make up the snow day that occurred on February 9, 2018. As it stands, the last day of school for the 2017-2018 school year is May 30, 2018. To view the full District calendar, please visit www.IowaCitySchools.org/Calendars.
