Dr. Rachael Arnone
I have been teaching for 17 years in the Iowa City school district, 16 of those have been at South East junior high. I have also taught at both West and City high schools and at Hoover elementary.
In 2012 I received my doctorate in Art Education at the University of Iowa.
I am a painter; my work has been exhibited locally, Minneapolis, Minnesota and New York City. My paintings are figurative and my style is abstract expressionism.
My husband and I have 4 kids, a 16 year old daughter, 2 13 year old sons (not twins) and a 6 year old son. My husband is a cello professor at the University of Iowa.
