Hello! My name is Heather Hansen and this is my first year with the Iowa City School District. I teach ELL courses at both Southeast Junior High and City High. My home town is Clinton, IA. I attended the Univeristy of Nothern Iowa and student taught in Trindad and Tobago. This will be my 9th year of teaching. I live in Washington, Iowa, with my husband and two cats. Traveling is my favorite hobby, I've spent time in Bolivia, Mexico, Denmark, Panama, and Costa Rica.
