About Ms. Halstead

Welcome to 6th grade! 

I grew up in Cedar Rapids and moved to the Iowa City area in 2015. I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2020 with my bachelor's in Elementary Education. I returned to the Universtiy of Iowa to complete my master's degree in Teaching, Leadership, and Cultural Competency. I started my teaching career as a 4th grade teacher and then moved to 6th grade when I became a Garner Gator in 2021. I have lived in North Liberty since 2017 and am excited to be teaching in this amazing community!
