The Shimek PTO welcomes all families to participate in our organization, whose mission is to promote community ties and student success within our school. We support parents and teachers working together to provide the best learning opportunities and environment for our students.

We meet monthly in the Library at Shimek. Please join us to learn more about the workings of our fine school and how you can become involved. We meet the second Wednesday of every month.

One of our goals is to fundraise to help pay for items that have ranged – over the years – from classroom technology to new playground equipment. Another is to promote fellowship, learning and fun within the Shimek Community. Below is a list of activities we have planned in the past, all of which work toward helping us meet these goals.
