About the Library
Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Students visit the library once per week for library class and a second time to checkout books. Click here to view the weekly checkout schedule. Students may also visit any day with teacher permission.
Wednesdays: 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. (in June and July; closed July 5th)
Program runs 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.; checkout 11:00 – 11:30 a.m.
About the District Library Program
The purpose of the Iowa City Community School District library program is to enable all students to be effective users of information and to appreciate and enjoy literature and other creative expressions of information.
