    The Josten’s representative will distribute orders at Liberty High School in the spring. Students who have not yet placed an order need to go to or call (319) 459-1395 as soon as possible to ensure that they have what they need for the Liberty graduation ceremony.

    Diploma Name Check

    If you haven’t done so already, stop by the Main Office and see Marcy to check that the spelling of your name is correct. This is what will be on your diploma.

    Senior Recognition Assembly: Thursday, May 16, 9:45 AM

    Seniors will be recognized through scholarships and special awards at this event. The general format of the assembly program allows local community groups to present scholarships to graduating seniors. Students receiving school department awards also will be individually recognized. Parents are invited to attend. Reminder to please dress business casual for the Senior Recognition Assembly.

    Submit a Senior Recognition Information form by May 1 in one of two ways:

    Final Day for Seniors: Thursday, May 23

    All exams and class assignments must be completed by this date, as well as all outstanding fees paid to the main office.

    Graduation Rehearsal: Thursday, May 23, Liberty High School Auditorium

    All seniors planning to participate in the Commencement ceremony must attend the rehearsal. Seniors will meet in gym at 9:00 AM

    Commencement Ceremony: Saturday, May 25

    Liberty High School Auditorium
    Doors open at 12 PM.
    Seniors must be in the band room in full graduation attire by 12:30 PM.
    Commencement program begins at 1 PM.
    No tickets required.

    Please contact the Liberty Main Office at (319) 688-1350 if you or someone in your party needs information regarding special needs and/or handicapped accommodations for the commencement ceremony.

    Seniors who do not plan to participate in the graduation program should inform the main office.

    Graduation Party

    Reserve a table in the Bolt Café to celebrate your graduate after commencement! Liberty High School will have fewer than 100 graduating seniors. This gives us a unique opportunity to offer a location for students and their families to celebrate their graduation in the Bolt Café after the commencement ceremony.

    Graduation Photos

    Halverson Photography will photograph each senior as they receive their diploma and will mail a proof directly to your home address. There is no obligation to purchase.
