Advanced Placement (AP) Exams
Liberty High School offers AP courses for students 9–12 across various content areas. In AP classes, students can expect more rigor and challenge in the coursework, much like what they would see in a college setting. AP students have the opportunity to learn new skills in content areas that interest them. Research shows that students who take at least one AP course during high school are more likely to be successful in college.
2020-21 AP Exam Registration
All students enrolled in an AP course and their parent(s)/guardian(s) should have already received communication regarding the ordering and payment of AP examinations. AP exams will still be proctored in May, but the ordering and payment deadline is now November 2nd.
If you have additional questions regarding AP examinations, ordering, and/or payment, please contact the Counseling Office at (319) 688-1354.
- A timeline and step-by-step guide can be found here. AP Exam dates can be found here.
- With the help of AP teachers, students will access their CollegeBoard account and place orders for AP examinations here.
- Students must then also submit payment either online here (preferred method) or in person via the Counseling Office. If your student receives free or reduced lunch, payment is not required. For questions if your student would receive a fee waiver, contact Mrs. Schneider in the counseling office.
