Interpretation & Translation Services
Interpretation is assistance with oral communication between two languages by an interpreter.
Translation is the changing of written text from one language into another.
Requests for interpreters or document translation are made by school or District staff using the links below. If you are a parent or community member in need of these services for school-related purposes, please contact your school's administrative office or your child's teacher.
Under Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act and Executive Order 13166, public agencies are obligated to provide competent language assistance to limited-English-proficient individuals.
Using students or untrained staff to fill your interpretation and translation needs is NOT compliant with the above mentioned regulations.
