Hello, Hoover community.

I am excited to begin my seventh year teaching 5th grade at Hoover. I have also taught 3rd grade in the District, and currently I teach part-time in the morning (Mrs. Fitzgerald teaches in the afternoon) and mentor new teachers in the afternoon. I have a BS in elementary education and a MA in educational administration and supervision.

Away from school, I enjoy spending time with my wife (a 1st grade Hoover teacher) and four children.

The thing I enjoy most about teaching is building relationships with all students and learning from the life experiences the students bring to school. I am looking forward to us growing together.
