Open enrollment requests are to enroll in one school district from another school district. Voluntary transfers are requests from parents for their student(s) to attend a school other than their designated home attendance area school while still living within the Iowa City Community School District.
Deadlines for Submitting Open Enrollment Requests

Deadline for grades 1-12: March 1st of the school year preceding enrollment.
