Career Pathway:
Physical Education Teacher

As a Physical Education Educator, your primary role is promoting physical fitness, enhancing motor skills, and instilling a lifelong appreciation for physical activity. You will design and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that provide maximum physical activity time within the class period, teach skills and activities that transfer into physical activity outside of physical education class, and motivate children to be physically active for life. Additionally, you will assess students' physical abilities, cognitive growth, and development of teamwork/leadership/ethical behaviors.
