My name is Mrs. Zortman, and I am the Kirkwood librarian. We will be learning about great books, technology, digital citizenship, and research.

I was a Special Education teacher in West Liberty starting in 2004, then became a librarian at the same school in 2012. I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2004. I got my Masters in Education from Graceland University in 2008 and received my Library Studies certification from UNI in 2014. I have lived in Coralville for 24 years, and I am so excited to be "home" at Kirkwood Elementary!
