Canvas Access

  • In Fall, 2017, the district launched Canvas as its secondary-level Learning Management System.  This platform – which is used by dozens of school districts throughout Iowa, as well as by The University of Iowa and Iowa State University – serves  as the online platform for all secondary-level coursework in the Iowa City Schools.

Canvas Mobile Access

  • The Canvas Parent App is the mobile version of Canvas that helps parents stay up-to-date with their student's courses. Download the Canvas Parent app on Android and iOS devices.  Select https://iowacityschools.instructure.com as the school district domain. Then, the student will need to enter their login and password. Learn more about the Canvas Mobile app on the Canvas Community.
