Enrolling a New NCJH Student

To enroll as a new student, the parent and the student should start at the Guidance and Counseling Office. The hours are 7:30AM-3:30PM. You are welcome to call and set up a time if you’d prefer at 319.688.1213.
Bring the materials listed below and be prepared to spend one to two hours here. You will complete registration forms in the Guidance Office and have placement testing. In most situations you will be able to start classes on the following day.
Requirements for Enrollment
A parent/guardian must accompany the student to the Guidance Office. Every new student will be given a Home Language Survey*, and a student information form to complete.Proof of residency (Bring any 1 of the 4 items)
- Driver’s license (with local address)
- 2 bills with address
- Lease contract
- Purchase agreement for home or condominium
If applicable, please bring the most recent I.E.P or 504 or special accommodation copies.
Please Also Bring:
- Unofficial or official transcript from previous school
- Withdrawal grades from previous school
- Immunization record
- Name and Address of last school attended
- Money for NCJH school fees
