Return-to-Learn

  • The Iowa City Community School District is actively evaluating the necessary measures to safely welcome students and staff back into our buildings. We have developed a Return-to-Learn Plan that will put us in a position to be prepared for multiple scenarios for the  2020-21 school year. We will be ready to help our students succeed academically while ensuring their health and safety are not compromised.

The work has been divided into the following seven targeted areas. Teams have been built for each area to create comprehensive plans based on three potential learning models for the fall: Continuous Learning (remote/at-home instruction), On-Site Delivery, or a Hybrid approach.
