Facilities Master Plan 2.0
The Iowa City Community School District is excited to begin the development phase of Facilities Master Plan 2.0 (FMP). Similar to the first FMP, which is nearing completion, FMP 2.0 will become a District-wide, multi-year facilities plan focused on creating innovative 21st Century learning environments across our District. Building off our recently completed work on Portrait of a Graduate, FMP 2.0 will create instructional spaces that help maximize student opportunity and support all students being college, career, and life ready when they leave the District.
As part of the FMP 2.0 development process, we will engage District stakeholders to ensure the priorities of FMP 2.0 reflect our community’s educational values and beliefs. We will hold multiple community engagement sessions in July and August to gather this important feedback. We will also offer alternative opportunities to provide feedback for those who are unable to attend the engagement sessions. We are excited about this important step in our facilities planning and look forward to your participation.
