TalkingPoints is a two-way multilingual family engagement platform that allows staff to communicate with families across language barriers. The platform translates messages back and forth into over 100 languages, allowing for staff to be able to reach families in their preferred language, which in turn increases parent engagement in the classroom and school communities.

What if I prefer to get messages in another language than what's in Infinite Campus?
If a family prefers to receive messages in a language other than what is currently identified in Infinite Campus, first confirm with your teacher what you would like as your preferred language, then contact your building's secretary to have that information updated in Infinite Campus.

How can I communicate with teachers?
Families can respond to messages in their preferred language via text message, and TalkingPoints will translate the messages back to the teacher.

What if I don't have unlimited texts?
For this exact reason, TalkingPoints has developed an optional, and free, Parent Mobile Application which you can use to receive messages, and bypass the texts. The Parent Mobile Application is also available for download on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

Where do I login?
The great thing about TalkingPoints, is that families don't need to take any extra steps to receive messages from the teacher. As soon as the teacher starts sending communication, families will automatically receive messages on their phones as basic SMS text messages.

SMS text vs. Family App Messages
TalkingPoints offers the choice to either send messages via SMS/Text or via our TalkingPoints Families app. If you have downloaded the TalkingPoints for Families App, you will get in-app messages. If you have not downloaded the app, you will receive text messages.
It is not currently possible to receive messages through both the family app and SMS texts.
