Persons interested in an Extra Servi

The board may enter into written contracts with Extra Service Activities Employees employed on a regular basis. The contract will state the terms of employment and shall be for a duration that does not extend beyond one (1) school year. All Extra Service Activities Employee contracts shall automatically terminate at the end of each fiscal year (June 30).

Extra Service Activities employees will receive a job description stating the specific performance responsibilities of their position. Extra Service Activities Employee shall be required to sign a code of conduct annually which will accompany the written contract.

It is the responsibility of the superintendent or designee to draw up and process the Extra Service Activities employee contracts and present them to the board for approval. The contracts, after signed by the board president, are filed with Human Resources.

Extra Service Activities employees are considered to serve in an at-will employment capacity.
