The Iowa City Community School District is currently looking to fill a vacancy on our School Board. Pursuant to Section 279.6 of the Code of Iowa, the Board of Directors of the Iowa City Community School District intends to fill by appointment a vacancy on the Board created by the resignation of one of its members. The term of office for this appointment will be September 15, 2026 through the next school board election in November 2027.
The application deadline is 4:00 PM on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
