Healthy Kids School-Based Clinic
The Healthy Kids School-Based Clinic is dedicated to addressing the physical and mental health needs of ICCSD students who are uninsured, underinsured, or face other barriers to healthcare. By offering free medical services, Healthy Kids ensures that all students have access to essential healthcare. This initiative not only supports the health of these students but also enhances their learning experiences and social interactions. Healthy Kids is aligned with the mission of the Iowa City Community School District which is to ensure all students will become responsible, independent learners capable of making informed decisions in a democratic society as well as in the dynamic global community; this is accomplished by challenging each student with a rigorous and creative curriculum taught by a diverse, professional, caring staff and enriched through the resources and the efforts of families and the entire community.
