Mental Health Work Group
Our Mental Health Work Group came into existence in May 2022 with a clear mission in mind. Since its inception, the group has been diligently working to advance mental health services and support within our District. This collective effort involves building a strong knowledge base and engaging in extensive discussions regarding potential avenues for stakeholder involvement. Our primary objective is to forge recommendations that will not only sustain but also enhance the mental health and wellness resources available to our school community. In essence, our dedicated work group is committed to fostering an environment where the mental well-being of students and staff is a top priority.
Our Goals
- Increase the overall community understanding of what mental health and wellness services and supports are currently in place
- Identify how services/support that are currently in place could be improved
- Identify gaps in services/supports, as well as, propose ideas and next steps on how to fill those gaps
