Weekly Math. Weekly math is a homework assignment that is given to students on Friday and due the following Friday. A parent letter will be sent home with the first assignment explaining this work in more detail.
Language Arts: Each week students will be given a spelling pretest on Monday and a post-test on Friday. Students will be given 2 spelling lists on Monday, one to bring home to study. Students are assigned certain pages in their LA workbook. There is typically enough time to finish these pages in class, but students may bring this home to work on.
Students have a google docs account. We will be writing most of our large writing assignments in our accounts. These accounts can be reached at home as well.
Current Events: this is a homework assignment that is due on Friday. This assignment will be explained and modeled for students and a letter will be sent home explaining the contents of the assignment.
