Message of Thanks

Dear Families and Staff,

It is with the utmost appreciation that I write this message.  We have come a long way and have covered a significant amount of unchartered territory over the past nine months.  We could not have done this alone and, for this, we are incredibly thankful.

Each new stage of this pandemic has brought its own set of challenges and learning opportunities.  While we may not have always agreed on every decision, we were still able to come together to keep our school community safe while also providing the best possible educational experience for our students under unprecedented circumstances.  Thank you for your support, your patience, and your adaptability throughout.  Again, we could not have done this without you.

While there is a light at the end of the tunnel, we are not through this yet.  We must remain diligent in our efforts to keep ourselves and each other safe.  We will continue to make decisions that are in the best interest of our school district family.  From this, we will not waiver.

We will reach out with any updates over the next two weeks and we look forward to welcoming students back on January 4, 2021.  In the meantime, please enjoy this break.  Take time to relax, recharge, and connect with those you love.  Most importantly, take care of yourself and each other.  #ICCSDtogether
