'Say Something' Reporting Tool

You may have noticed posters throughout your school promoting the District’s ‘Say Something’ reporting tool.  This system allows for students, staff, and parents to anonymously report bullying incidents, sexual assault or harassment incidents, and school safety concerns.

Reports can be submitted in three ways:

  • Text the words @SaySomething to the number 35134. When you send the text, within moments you will receive a return text from the system that provides a link to input information and submit your report.
  • Utilize your smartphone’s camera to read the QR code from the posters on display throughout each school.  A website link to submit your report will automatically pop up on the screen once the QR code is scanned.
  • Utilize the ‘Say Something’ link that has been bookmarked on every Chromebook in the District.

When a report is submitted, the principal of the building indicated as the site of the concern will receive the full incident report via email.  Designated District administrators will also receive each incident report upon submission.

School counselors will work throughout the year to include information about this tool in discussions with students during curriculum topics relevant to these issues.

Please remember, in the case of emergency, individuals should always contact 911.
