We look forward to welcoming students back to 100% on-site learning beginning Monday, February 15, 2021. The ICCSD PK-12 Online Learning Program will continue as normal. As a reminder, Friday, February 12, 2021, will be a ‘no school’ day for both on-site and online students, and there will be no Grab & Go meals on this day. Staff will utilize this time to prepare for the return to 100% on-site learning.
As you may be aware, Governor Reynolds’ most recent health proclamation lifted the statewide mask mandate that has been in place for several months. Although this mandate has been lifted, the District will continue to require face-coverings at all times in our buildings and during school activities. This aligns with the most recent guidance from Johnson County Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
With the increase of students and staff on-site, it will be critical that we remain diligent in adhering to our health and safety protocols. Maintaining these protocols is in the best interest of our students, staff, and families. For comprehensive information on our health and safety mitigation efforts, please reference the District’s updated Return-to-Learn Guide.
Continuing to keep our students and staff safe will be a collaborative effort. Conducting daily health screenings with your children, keeping them home if they are sick, practicing effective hand washing, and wearing a face-covering properly are just a few ways in which families can help prepare for a safe return to 100% in-person learning. Thank you for your support and collaboration. #ICCSDtogether
