Grab & Go Meal Program moves to an order-based system

Nutrition staff pose in front of grab and go meal recipientWe would like to provide an update on our District’s Grab & Go meal program.  Due to the significant decline in participation in the program as the majority of students are now on-site, we will be transitioning to an order-based meal pick-up system for our families with students learning off-site.  Please take a moment to review the details of the program below.

Beginning February 7, 2022, the Grab & Go Meal Request Form must be completed to receive Grab & Go meals.  This request must be completed by January 28, 2022, and will remain in effect through the remainder of the 2021-22 school year.  If meals are not picked up on three consecutive occasions without communication, we will contact you and your meal request will be canceled.

Meal pick-up sites will be at North Central Junior High, Northwest Junior High, and South East Junior High.  Information on the specific pick-up location at each school will be provided to participating families once they submit their order.  Only students or a parent/guardian may pick up meals from the Grab & Go program.  Meals can be picked up on Mondays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.  Monday’s meal pick-up will include three breakfast and three lunch meals.  Thursday’s meal pick-up will include two breakfast and two lunch meals. Menu information can be found at MealViewer, under the Grab & Go menu.

Meals continue to be free of charge and are available to children ages 1-18; however, school-aged children should be enrolled in the ICCSD Online program or currently not participating in on-site learning.

If you are unable to access the online order form, would like to request the form in another language, or if you have any questions, please contact the Nutrition Services Office at (319) 688-1021.
