Lisa Williams is an Assistant United States Attorney in the Northern District of Iowa where she prosecutes violations of federal criminal law. She lives in Iowa City with her husband Jason Schumann, who teaches at City High School. They have two daughters and their eldest attends school in the ICCSD. Growing up, Lisa attended Mann Elementary and South East Junior High. She attended Smith College where she graduated with a B.A. in government and astronomy and then returned to Iowa City to attend the University of Iowa College of Law. In her free time, she serves as a coach to the City High mock trial team.
