Staff Recognition

Any individual who has contributed to the education of ICCSD students Honorees are typically current or retiring members of the ICCSD community who have made a meaningful contribution to the education and wellbeing of students. Anyone who has positively impacted your school is a worthy nominee.

Nomination Deadline
Submissions must be received before the annual reception in April. Contact your school's PTO or the DPO Executive Board for the current year's deadline.

1. Choose your honoree
Think of a teacher, staff member, administrator, or volunteer who has made a meaningful difference at your school this year, or over many years.

2. Make a $50 donation
Submit a $50 contribution (or multiple of $50) to the DPO Scholarship for Future Teachers Fund through your school's PTO or directly to the DPO. Each $50 entitles you to designate one honoree.

3. Submit your nomination
Provide the honoree's name, school, and role along with your donation. You may also include a brief note about why you're honoring this person; it will mean a great deal to them at the reception.

April 16, 6 PM

Each spring, the ICCSD DPO hosts the Honoree & Scholarship Reception to celebrate the educators and volunteers who have been nominated by families and community members, alongside the student scholarship recipients.

Honorees are invited to attend with their families. Nominators are also welcome and encouraged to come celebrate the people they've recognized. It is a warm, community-centered evening that reflects the best of ICCSD's school communities.

Invitations are sent directly to honorees. If you have nominated someone and have questions about the reception, contact the DPO Executive Board.
