Full-Day Preschool Programming

For the 2026-27 school year, full-day preschool is available at each of our elementary schools.
Tuition for the full-day preschool program is $650 per month*. However, students of eligible families are able to attend at no cost. To determine eligibility, please see the Federal Income Guidelines.
Before and after-school programming (BASP) is available in all of our schools. Please contact the BASP director at your requested school as soon as possible to indicate your interest. Contact information for the BASP directors is available on our BASP webpage.
*The Iowa City Community School District partners with Brightwheel for tuition payments. If you are set up to pay tuition, you will receive communication and instructions directly from Brightwheel.
Full-Day Program Information
Meets five days a week, Monday-Friday.
Open during school hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 7:55 AM–2:55 PM
- Thursday: 7:55 AM–1:55 PM
Transportation is not provided by the District.
